Hatta, a community with a 200-year history, is situated in the rugged Hajar Mountains. About 115 kilometers east of Dubai City is Hatta. It boasts a well-liked Heritage Village, two notable military towers from the 18th century, and the Juma mosque, the oldest structure in Hatta, which was constructed in 1780.
You will experience an exciting drive across the rocky terrain to get there. Scenes of amazing and landscape that surround the little settlements and villages deep in the mountains can be seen after about an hour of difficult driving.
You can later explore the reconstructed Hatta Fort from the sixteenth century. We stop at one of those well-known street markets on the way back to Dubai where you can buy regional carpets and pottery.
