Camels have been an integral part of Arabian Peninsula for as long as 6000 years ago, in the year 1993 in Kalba region Sharjah, mud poetry was discovered with ancient drawings of camels by archaeologist, and it goes back to 3000 years B.C. There are approximately 15 million camels in the world and the United Arab Emirates houses 300,000 camels and the rest of them can be found in parts of Africa, Saudi Arabia and other middle east countries.

They are fast, camels can run 60 to 70 km daily at a speed of 12 to 16 km/h. If you talk about camel races? They can reach a speed of 65 km/h interesting right? They can walk 10 to 15 kilometers per hour continuously for 10 hours in the desert, we may not last 60 minutes in the desert without water. They drink up to 100 liters at a time and can survive for 3 to 4 weeks enduring the thirst. An average camel weighs 665 kg to 540 kg and Their lifespan extends to 40 years.

When a camel is three years old the training begins and with a walking exercise for one month. You have not experienced Dubai if you haven’t had a close encounter with this amazing animal. Dress Code: Recommended to wear loose clothing since the temperatures will be high in Summer and During Winter the temperature may go down in the evening. Trekking shoes or casual shoes are recommended and avoid wearing high heels, you also bring your cap or hats.

Exclusion And Inclusions
The visitors should comply with all the safety signage and instructions when inside the farm.
Smoking and drinking any form of alcohol is strictly prohibited inside the farm.
Pets of any kind are not allowed inside the camel farm.
Balls, bicycles or vehicles are not allowed inside the farm.
Visitors will be escorted by a Camel Farmer for any animal encounter
Children aged less than 10 years old, must be accompanied by an adult.
Only children above 10 years old are allowed for Camel rides.
Feeding of Animals is not allowed except the feeding tour organized by the camel farm
